depends on the wheel offset. Factory rims probably not. Widest tire from factory is 275 which is about 11 inches wide. Your 315's are at least 12.5 inches wide. I know they won't fit on an '07 with stock wheels, but not sure about '05. Sorry.

Any wider than 12.5 and no they wont fit. I fit 12.5 wide tires and they barely touched
( I mean a penny could just fit in between). Height should not be a problem. I do have a 2008 though.

His truck should still have the torsion bar front suspension. There should be more clearance around the A arm than on the non torsion bar trucks. Can't remember what year they made the switch but I think it was '06. With his offset, they should fit depending on how wide his wheels are. A 12.5 inch tire on a 9 inch wheel is gonna bulge pretty bad and could have wear issues.

They will fit but it will be tight.....you will probably need a spacer behind there....not much of one but you will need one...

It also depends on the tire size. They will never match what size is on the side (they round up). Bfg at should work, I'd look into wheel spacers though they're pretty cheap

He's a coil-over, not a torsion front (only '02-'05 4x4s are torsion fronts), and it's gonna be CLOSE! Might go, might not. A wheel with a negative offset would clear it fine.

I would say anything 12" or narrowing in width would be fine with your present wheels...
