hey there, this is mainly for anyone in central/northern new york. has anyone been anywhere that has some decent sized muddy places? im not looking for trails but more for feilds and more open spaces just to have some fun in. im getting some new tires soon and want to test them out. thanks guys.

 

I grew up in the Hudson Valley, at that time there were a TON of places in Ulster and Sullivan Counties I went all the time. A bit of a trek from Syracuse though and I wouldn't bank on if they were still there or not.
Last time I went up for a visit, the deep woods in Orange County I used to hunt deer and off-road in I found is now a HUGE sub-division...

 

wow that really sucks haha. yeah i mean im trying to find just some random places to go but theyre either state land thats "off limits" (somtimes ) or posted property. theres a park you can pay for in lyons (idk where that is) thats like 30 bucks but thats like over an hour away. if gas goes down like it has been i might go late in the summer.

Anyone who knows of muddin spots that is. Btw anything around 360 is a major NO-NO!
