Default Is it worth it?

I found this and i was just wondering if you guys think that price is reasonable or not. Ive seen the truck in person(dealer was closed at time) so no test drive yet. It looks really nice but I will still check everything out when there open tomorrow.

Seems to be priced fairly. Doesn't mean you can't get a negotiated price, but it's a decent starting point. Check the shocks for wear. Look for oil around the boots or puddled on the control arms. The factory shocks and struts seem to go bad around 50k. Open the power steering resivoir and smell for burnt up ATF+4, it will give an easy indication of proper maintenance. Crank the heat full blast to listen for rattling, which would indicate a bad blend door, and check the usual oil and coolant levels and conditions. Any parts that fail can be valuable negotiating terms.

If you do a KBB.com on it and punch in all the options and mileage what do you get?

I can tell you from what I've seen on here. 22.5K for an 08 even if it's 4x4 is ridiculous! you should only be paying around 18K I would say

Yea I got my truck 3 years ago for about 21-22K even though it's only 2WD. I think offering them 16 is a little too low. I say offer 17K

Trucks up north tend to cost more than in the south due to the winter weather and 4x4 being in higher demand. They should at least list the correct color of the interior. It is grey, not khaki like it says. It is a nice looking truck, Stark bargaining around $17,500 and meet in the middle if need be. It also doesn't have rear defrost since it has a power slider. That only came on solid windows as an option on the 08 Ram. Another tip, make sure that you get two working keys, because they are very expensive and with only one key, a spare can only be programmed at the dealer. Well over $100 usually for a remote key.
