I can't seem to find any real comparisons. Everyone talks about their 16 second HEMIs. I don't know if 21 is good or bad. It was reconded with my new SC Vivid LINQ. It accounted for tire size. It was set to 91 performance tune.

Oh did you just floor it in drive the whole way? If so then 21 sounds about right

Is there any other way?

I found a country road and floored it for a quarter mile. Hit 89mph at the end of it. Seems pretty quick. This engine is completely rebuilt.

Did you ever put on the 2008 Intake Manifolds? I have a 2004 ram 4.7l and thinking of buying them. Haven't seen anyone actually talk good or bad about them.. Just wondering

I did not put the Intake Manifold on yet. I havn't had time to do any upgrades lately. In fact, one of my tires failed and I had to upgrade those instead .. LOL
I went from Falken Z04 S/T275/45/R20 to Yokohama Parada Spec-X 305/50/20

BTW: thats why I was able to get an 8.3s 0-60 ... and also why it took 21s to do a quarter mile. My Falkens were undersized at 28" tall.

I definately notice the reduction of bottom end torque with these new 'extra wide' tires. they are closer to stock at 31.5" tall.
