Default 285/75/17 or 35s

My truck is leveled and im trying to decide on 34 inch tires or to just go for the 35s. Does anyone have pics of 285/75s or 305/70s? Also, I keep getting back and forth answers on weither 35s will fit on an only leveled 4x4. My wheels are 17x8 cragars, with 4.5 backspace and 0 offset. I want to fill my wells without my truck being unuseable, and I dont want them to look unproportionately small. Thanks guys. PICS PLEASE!

I have the same truck. I run 285/70/17. just raise the torsion bar 1/2 to level slightly. I tow alot so I didn't want perfect level. Not many companies make 305/70/17. That what I wanted originaly. For me 35 was too much. I believe 35 fit, they rub if turning really sharp. I'll see if I can up load a pic.

If you offroad then do the 285's if you are just a street guy then do the 35's.

With a level 35s should fit but like gHEMI said it won't do too well offroad as the wheel wells will be pretty stuffed

I wont be doing any hardcore offroading, maybe driving through some fields and a bit of mud during hunting season lol. Im just worried about getting the 35s and not being able to even go over a speed bump without hitting something. Does anyone have pictures of 285/75/17 or 305/70 tires?

That's what were saying lol. If you get 35s with only a level your tires will probably destroy your wheel wells when you go offroad and probably if you hit a bump too fast

No, it's a 33 (32.7" if you want to be specific)

285's and 305's are both 33" tires, the 285's are a narrower version. You wont see 35's until you go 305/75/17, instead of the 70 series. Rubbing sucks, not only does it sound hideous but it ruins the tread and sidewalls. Stick with 285/75/17 and not the 70 series.
