I have patriot blue and I Monstalined my rockers and bumpers. I am going to plasti dip the wheels and grille. Just so you know you are able to peel plasti dip off. So if you decide you don't like it, take it off.

Bigboytoys- That looks sweet! You got some mad skills there. What program you using? Im a mechanical engineer so I love playing around with stuff in CAD.

I got around to hittin up the truck with some plasti-dip last night, i think it turned out pretty sweet

during (after 1 coat i think)

I also did my nasty bars, I think it looks pretty good. We will see about durability, hopefully it lasts a little while. Now I just gotta do my bumpers and grill and decide if I wanna black out the badges or just get rid of them altogether...

Looks great! I don't like the chrome and the Plasti Dip also helps me with my wheels. Blue and Black looks awesome together!

Thanks! I thought the chrome was eh... ok, but it was starting to peel and chip so I decided to go for it.

Love to see other guys who have done the same, or if you are planning to do it, post up some pics and let us admire your work!

Great to see others working with matte colors, i myself was gonna go all matte black and now have decided on an Olive Drab ( Italian Olive) close to army green and a little different.

I would like to know how your wheels are doing i accidentally scrubbed some off and now that damn chrome is showing lol. Also how about matte care as in washing it down or wiping it with a cloth.

Would any clear coat be ok, obviously not too much or it would ruin the matte finish, i was just gonna leave it.

I'll post pics soon. Cheers!!
