What do you guys think about the 12v cummins?
I dislike the truck but I love the engine. I'd never touch any vehicle near 100k miles but that is just my preference. I know the cummins runs forever, I just don't trust that many miles on anything. I like to put the miles on there
Yeah I understand that but if you can find a cummins of that year with below 100K it does more harm on a engine to sit then to run it over the years.
So when i see a car or truck with low miles under a 100K over a peirod of 12+ years I usually run. Unless you know them personally and they have started it everyweekend and drove it at least twice a month.
More things break when any car or truck sits. They were made to run not sit as a garage qween for years on end.

I am glad in a way... The f250 really appealed too me but more justifing to my wife. The 12v I just wanted because I know how good of a engine it is. And have always loved them.
Plus it is pretty cheap too bump up the torque on the all mechanic engine. Its more of a basic truck but if i want bumpers and a bigger lift and tires i can do that later my self

lucky guy! lol i had an 02 24v in my pocket, gave him the down payment and everything then i totalled my car. took way too long to get him his money b/c of all the insurance so i never ended up getting it....still kick myself in the *** every time i see a 2nd gen cummins. good luck with it!

I am actually interning with Cummins right now so I am getting a lot of good experience with their engines
