do I need different gears after 6 inch lift?

Becuase they don't make that low of a gear for the front differential, only for the back.

I don't plan on getting new gears it'd be a waste. Even with my lift and 35's there was never any change in the way it drives. As I save up money I may do it though, but as of now it is no priority

Same. My 3.92s treat me well for now. But if the money was ever laying around for it I would definitely jump on it

Oh yea, I forgot to mention my truck is a dog on the highway though. Going up hills at 60-65 the rpm stays low which I wouldn't care but it causes my exhaust to drone real bad so I have to give it more gas to decrease the obnoxious drone. But I've never really seen a big decrease in performance other than that

Didn't you buy it with the lift and (other) big tires on it? What do you have to compare "no change in the way it drives" to?

*EDIT* If you built it, then I apologize. Must be someone else I'm thinking of...
