Default sway bar or no sway bar?

I know I've seen some guys taking off their front sway bars and I was just wondering how that works out in the long run? I have that rattle in the front end that I've seen from here is most likely the sway bar bushings. So I was just wondering if it's worth my time and money to just go get the Energy Suspension bushings or just take the whole sway bar off? Thoughts, suggestions?

I wouldn't want to drive without one. I added a Hellwig RSB and the truck really handles well.

Disconnect the end links and see how it drives. Took my whole front sway bar off 2 years ago and straight line passing/driving is fine and did not have to relearn how the truck responds.
Do have to slow down more when entering a corner/bend vs before but my exits are no issues. Actually going to put mine back on since i only took it off for front end weight reduction (performance reasons) but the truck is mostly just a cruiser now
Not to say the truck already handles great due to the 4/6 and rear sway bar cause the pumpkin does def' keep up on the bends.

Yea I took it off this morning. And its nothing too bad in the way of corners now but you do feel it more forsure. It's only really temporary until I can afford new bushings and end links

I have a Hellwig RSB on order and can't wait to get this thing on. I can't imagine wanting to take the front one off...
These trucks are so heavy they really need some help in the handling department. Just added Bilstein 5100's and they have alreay helped A LOT. With the Hellwig added on it should be awesome.

Good luck.

Well I don't race or do high speed turns so the better ride and more articulation are more important to me. It's really not a difference at all if you drive it like a respectable person does lol

Why spend the money for mods if you're not gonna drive it hard. I'd put that bar back on if I were you. If you ever do hit a turn too hard, they'll be scraping you off the pavement. 08, how many miles do you have on ur truck. The reason I ask is that I have 104,000 miles on mine and have no sway bar bushing problems at all

Because my mods aren't speed performance mods... And I have 36k on the clock but like I said until I can get new bushings and end links its staying off. And btw I can still take turns at about 30mph. Even those tight turn on ramps I hit at about 45-50 today with no fear of roll over

Dont listen to me, but when your in one of those off ramp turns, and have to hit the brakes really hard, see how stable it feels then. I just don't want you to get hurt, but then do what you want to do
