But theres no other shops ie: no competition either. It does seem a touch on the steep side....but for my area I was expecting $2500 and its definatley something I have zero desire to tackle myself. I also have a few other friends that own garages with multiple lifts ect....but it doesnt make me want to deal with it myself either.

where in upstate are you at? im just north of syracuse. i know theres an aftermarket place there in syracuse, but idk if they deal with lifts and such.

You can't get 4.88s for a 4x4!!!! At least for the IFS guys. Idk about SFA

Theres alot of things you cant get for the tiny IFS diffs. If exactly 4:88 isnt available then theres something close. 4:56 isnt the tallest gear you can get.
The first idiot garage I called about a gear swap told me there were no 4:56 available for my front diff. anywhere. The guy I went to gets them directly from the factory that makes them for the auto companies. You can get almost anything if you know where to look.

Other than gearing you mean.

Are you running the stock 3:73 or 4:10?? Or did you change them?

I'm ok I guess with 4:56 and my 35" rubber. I couldnt imagine 2-3 more inches with 4:56 though. It would be a dog.

Well ledyard, if you find taller than 4.56, please let me know. I've been looking all over and everyone says 4.56 is the tallest. I have the same axles as you. But that's also why I said it might look a little funny. I have 35's on a 2.5 leveler and they look perfect w/no rubbing.

IFS can go 4.56 front and rear but not 4.88. And neither can SFA. Chrysler axles are pretty particular from what I've seen
