Lol yes they do thats how they get away with two. Just picture two full sized (68mm or so) turbos shoved in their, they would be pushing a little more hp then they have now lol

Bad thing to have full size ones too, the powerstrokes' lock up all the damn time and the Cummins in our area never have/will

My brother has been on a land speed racing team for 3-4 years, he talked with some Ford reps about the ecoboost when they were trying to get them to sponsor their team. The guy said that the truck is basically optimized to get good gas mileage when empty. Downside is that hook something up to the SOB and the mileage goes completely down the crapper.

Also, from a used truck standpoint, when I was shopping for a truck a year ago or so, most of the used dealers would not reccommend a ford to me, they had too many issues with them breaking down. Other anecdotal evidence, there are hundreds and hundreds (maybe 500) fords from 06-11 for sale in my area, with less than 100 chevys and dodges when you do a search on autotrader. That to me says people are holding onto their dodges and chevy's and selling their fords. Who knows... I think they all have their positives and negatives. Just my two cents.

wow a 10 grand difference? for maybe 2-3 mpg i really wouldnt consider doing it. and plus the dodges look a million times better than the fords do, plus the hemi rumble is unrivaled

More anecdotal stuff.... I just got back from a good ol fashioned county fair in upstate NY. They had 2 nights of tractor pulls. The second night was 4x4 trucks, gas and diesel. Out of the 25-30 gas trucks 1 or 2 was a dodge... most where chevys with maybe 5-7 fords. Out of the 30 diesel trucks 22-24 were dodges and the rest were chevys and fords.

Can't speak much about the Eco-Boost as an engine either plus or minus BUT I can say I know two guys who own one and BOTH have had to have their transmissions replaced within the first year and a half of ownership. One of the two had to see his truck sitting in the dealer parking lot for over 100 days as the transmissions were on national back-order. Fun-Fun...

This is because unlike the CTD, the Hemi is not a very efficient truck engine. It was designed as a compromise V8 to work across a broad spectrum of vehicles as such it makes most of it's power in the mid to upper RPM band - not where you want it for pulling...

New truck problems, just like any new thing wait till the second or third year they get better over time and thats with any car or truck. And as for the Dodges looks the Single Cab is a beauty just mean and everything else you look for in a truck!
