By spears, I assume you mean the body side moulding? Have to look close at mine but I can see they are starting to do the same from sitting in the sun. My truck was a garage baby until my daughter started driving a couple of years ago. She just went off to college so I got my garage spot back. Might do some PD on those things as well.

I just made a run around town and, as expected, nobody here sells the stuff. Are there any of the big box stores that carry it, for sure? Lowes, Home Depot? If so, what section is it in?

 

I got it at Lowes, it was with all the spray paints. Still holding up very well on my grill and bumpers. It's been through automated car wash 3 or 4 times now, no issues.

 

Yeah the moulding about 3 inches up from door bottom. Looks nice!
