around my neck of the woods 4x4 is all you can have if you have a truck, we get lots of snow in the winter. id say theres about a 55/45 split between trucks and cars. but having said that, the people who have the cars prolly have a truck in the garage for winter. i hope it will sell fast, i did the auto trader thing where they send ur info to dealers and they give you what they think its worth, right now one dealer is offering me 11,270 but my payoff of my loan is like 12,500 ish.
I just got done trading up in years...I went from a 1994 F250 to a 2002 Ram 1500. Only had 84,000 miles and the price was right. Owners took excellent care of it and I plan to do the same. I've got a few things I'd like to add to her but she's a pretty truck. I couldn't justify spending big bucks on a new truck even though this is my daily driver I drive less than a mile to work everyday. The last few years I wouldn't put 3000 miles on my F250 in 2 years. I guess the bottom line just comes down to usage and how mechanically sound your current truck is. Oh...And like a few others...man I'm glad I don't have to look at Craigslist everyday anymore.
I used to be on CL everyday as well looking for a bike to ride to class and work but my coworker is giving me hers for free on friday. It's too tall for her and its even a mountain bike. So my CL stalking days are over lol. I still check occasionally for tow mirrors and wheels though
Thats the only used truck id have right now. Eery one tells me how would you pay for diesel, i tell em my gas milage now makes that Cummins look like a prius
Hell yea. If I could get high teens in the city and 23-25 highway I would gladly take a diesel even with its high maintenance cost. I already pay the same if mot more now for gas since I use 93 octane. Plus I got buddies who are diesel mechs in the military who could help me out
