well sit it to 7500 today and i maxed it out in each gear up to 4th on the interstate and she didnt mind at all.i run full synthetics in everything so hopefully that helps keep everything in line, but this wont be a common practice. and i was suprised to find that it dosnt fall on its face at that rpm, just keeps pullin.

it was just to see if i could do it since the superchips tuner lets you set your rev limiter, and it wont be happening again. i dont do o-60 times or nothin like that. these are not performance trucks regardless of what anbody says, but that dosent mean you can tinker with em a lil. didnt over heat, didnt fuss or stumble or nothin. but like i said, once is enough, the rev limiter is now sit back down to a comfy 6400 rpm, which is just 150 above stock i believe. And im by no mean some rich guy with money layin around to replace and engine block or broken valves or new heads. just cuz is all.I hadnt seen anybody else on here say anything about doing it, and this is an informative site, so there you go, an 03 dodge 4.7 can rev to 7500 rpm, but shouldnt.

Well who ever has a programmer can do this not just SC, mines set to 6000 or a tick over stock, cant remember but the only way its seeing that many RPMs is when its floored and it still dosent get that close. Even though its a HEMI
