That sounds cool. Reminds me off the old musclecar engines. You can hear all the cylinders firing. :P

Sounds sloppy. Those flex pipes wouldn't last up near a hot header either.

Your losing performance running that way!!
A few guys have done dyno runs with cut-outs and their performance actually dropped with it open versus when it was closed and running through a muffler!

Ya I had the exhaust done shortly after. 2 1/2 true dual to flowmasters dumped before the rear axle. You can barely hear it at idol but at WOT she screams and the performance did feel better after the rest of the exhaust was put on. Just thought I'd tickle some b@!!$ with this

out of curiosity, what style Flows did you use?
The Race flows are single chamber, the least restrictive and are totally obnoxious at idle, part throttle, and practically non-existent at full throttle...lol

Sounds like you went with 40series(2 chamber) or 50 series(3 chamber). I believe that's correct. Been awhile since I've researched flows cuz I'm a borla and Mag guy.

Details man. Where's the after video? ughhh your effin killin me dude.....rofl
chop..chop.. I'm anxious!

I'm not trying to be a drag, but Heddmans are horrible..

I've never met a pair that didn't leak due to warping on the flange.. it may happen in the next month, or the next year- but it will happen..

the primary tubes are too thin, and it will become brittle and crack.. you can likely expect two~three years of service before they give up the ghost.. I even had mine ceramic dipped to avoid this, but it is inevitable..

I am running a set now on my rig.. after arguing with them for what seems like forever, I managed to seal them shut with the mighty remflex gaskets and stage 8 bolts.. I even ended up pulling the old rodder trick of 'wiring' the heads in addition to the stage 8 fastener locks..

never- ever- will I purchase and use heddmans again.. I didn't listen to all the guys who warned me about those things, and I had to pay for that..

when these finally blow holes through the primary tubes, I'll replace them with something decent.. like pacesetters, or borlas, or something decent.. but never ever again with heddmans...

and don't even get me started about their customer service....

well the flowmasters are off my buddies truck, i had magnaflows on it but they just werent the right ones idk. the trucks in houston but ill see if my girlfriend cant make a video for it. as far as the heddmans go i havent had a problem yet but if i do well ill probably get pacesetters as well. as far as the mufflers go, for now im stickin with them until i have to redo the exhaust, then maybe ill ask you guys for some clips to compare. and yes i believe they are 2 or 3 chamber. i cant remember cause they were free.

oh and my efan burnt up last weekend, girlfriend called me asking what check gages means (no shes not blonde, just the first time shes drivin my truck for more than to the store) well we went thru each gauge and got to the temps she yells uh oh.... its really hot... i almost cried, she was hurtin my baby lol well sure enough she got home after letting it chill out and started workin. sure enough the fan motor went out, shoulda went with a haynes but oh well. i left the clutch fan in the garage just in case i ever needed it and she put it back on (her stepdad tightened it). other than that shes still getting used to the torque, called me saying she was driving like she always does in the rain (very careful and why i usually drive) yet she did two donuts at an intersection. luckily it was a 4way stop and noone else was on the road and she stopped it before going into a ditch or mailbox lol told her to go to home depot and get sand bags. her response, "well will it still burnout when its dry and i just push the pedal to the floor?" so needless to say theres no sandbags until she does it again. im not sure what is in store for this truck next. the 96 is gonna be where my money goes for the next few months

In all fairness, my heddys are working fine.. it was just hell to seal them up.. the mighty remflex and stage eights were up to task..

I've got a couple years out of them.. I should get a couple more.. if I had shelled out for dougs, they would have survived the life of the truck.. all things are relative, no?
