Here in North Florida our winter ride is the same as our summer ride. We seldom see snow or iced roads. I did put Continental DWS tires on my Speed 3.

Here in dfw we usually get a crap ton of snow in February. Well let me rephrase that, a crap ton to someone who isn't used to it. In 2010 I think it was, we got over a foot!

We had 2 feet in one day on May 1st 2011. Woke up, looked outside, and my eyeballs almost popped out of my head!

Yeah that was on Tuesday. There's only about 3-4" down now but there's a good layer of ice underneath the white stuff. There were several big accidents yesterday and I saw a couple of cars parked with a wonky front wheel after running into the curb. Funny that because people have awd think they can stop and turn faster than others too... ah well I guess they can't

i live in upstate ny and i remember about 5 yrs ago we got 12-14 feet of snow in a week. it never stopped snowing for the whole week. had to have the national guard come and dig out most of the county, pretty epic. rode the snowmobiles on the highways. LOVED it
