No, but I get the similar arrogance from Harley riders, when stopped on my Yamaha VStar 1300 motorcycle. For some reason, they think Harley is the only bike on the planet. They're probably jelous, knowing mine will still be running when theirs is in the shop!

lol dont get me started on HD riders. They feel special b/c they wasted more money on an expensive bike then the rest of us. Your 1300 is twice the bike theres is but weights 2/3s as much. I ride a crotch rocket, and they LOVE to drag stip light to light b/c all they have is bottom end.

But I Love keeping my clutch hand on my hip and keeping pace with them, while they are shifting all the way up to 4th just to keep city pace. And I make sure they know im still in 1st gear at 100kph.

I've always found the ford drivers to be worst in my neighbourhood... I had a typical lifted F350 powersmoke with tow mirrors out, hitch hanging out, fogs on during a clear day and what must have been straight exhaust in order to hear the hamster cage spooling from a mile away come up besides me yesterday. Now nothing against 18 year olds driving 70K+ new trucks but before this guy starts reving his truck, he really should have wondered if a residential intersection across from a school is the best place for this crap, then maybe notice the kid in the back on my truck first, or maybe the fact that the lane he's in is actually a bike lane covered in snow, or that although probably hard to tell from his side, my flasher was on to turn onto my street! The best part about him racing away on his own down the bike lane is that when the puff of smoke cleared, my little girl said she thought that truck was broken :P

sounds like you live near 40th Ave. Those bike lanes they put down are BS. They removed a few back to normal lanes after people freaked.

Ive got something against kids owning vehicles that expensive. Usually when the oilfield tanks, you go onto Kijiji and see a bunch of boys pleading with anyone to take over there payments that are 1500 a month.

I actually live in the country and have a problem with teenagers driving diesel rams that think that just because it's a diesel and has a chip, a hemi is no match for them. Believe me when I tell you that a modded hemi will walk off and leave a stock or nearly stock CTD. Now when the CTD has more mods than just a chip, it's a whole different ball game. I have proved this many times, and also had my @ss handed to me on more than one occasion by a modded CTD. I love the diesel Rams, but have some fun with the teens who think the stock CTD hung the moon, and lets face it, most teens don't have the money to highly modify their CTD's

I have to partially disagree here.
Stock for stock, a Cummins Ram will eventually leave a Hemi. Now, when I say stock for stock, I mean a stock motored Hemi and a stock motored Cummins WITHOUT large tires. Most kids put 35's on their Cummins trucks right off the bat and that kills them.

When I say eventually, I mean once both trucks are finally up to speed. The Hemi will have the low end acceleration advantage since it doesn't have a turbo to spool and most are autos.

As far as modded Cummins trucks, there is a guy in the 2nd gen section that is pushing 800ft lbs of torque and STILL gets close to 20 mpg.
He'd walk from you real quick.

In the long a chip will hurt the Cummings if the right mods aren't done right. Fuel rail will need to be replaced transmission all from a chip that isn't ran right.

As far as the mods rebuilt engine, twin turbo, straight 5" exhaust , new transmission and rear end to put the power to the ground. And was getting 20mpg

I have raced a few guys in my Cummings who thought that their trucks were really fast, then when they see the smoke when all 4 tires spin and the trucks starts reeving.
They didn't want any after that

I didn't say stock for stock, I said a modded hemi vs a ctd with chip only, and when I say modded hemi I mean bolt ons only and a programmer, and when you eliminate the stop speed limiter a modded hemi will pull nicely to 125-130 mph and that is where I usually have quite a bit of advantage over the stock ctd. Dont get me wrong, I love the CTDs but also have fun playing with them. We have one here in my town at Beans diesel performance making way over 1000 hp and god only knows how much torque, but my point is dont sell the hemi with a few bolt ons short

CTD are the most overated ego trips out thier, and when thier chiped, 4 in ex propane injection, 20 lbs of bost, and a lift kit, while of course thier faster for inital investment over the hemi, thats a no brainer, for the CTD boy wounders on thier super hero parade....

Hemis in stock form are pretty stout and will run with any stock CTD, what every one is forgets, is the CTD is built to move mountains, The hemi moves your passenger truck, or in my case my 2500 work truck.

All that modifed CTD tourqe is wasted in black smoke and runing from stop light to stop light. You can say the same for modding out the hemi and having to prove your equal to the boy wounders in the CTD...

CTD and the hemi are the best engines out thier, and as I said before, it tends to be othier Ram drivers who are out to smoke me out in My Elantra, or prove thier Ram is faster than Mine..
