I suppose you forgot how to use proper grammar and sentence structure, along with spelling too.

Also, a properly tuned Cummins will not just smoke, it will go like stink.

I am not preaching Cummins just to preach Cummins; I am a gas guy, however, I can appreciate what the Cummins-powered Rams have to offer when they're set up right.

Hemis in stock form are pretty stout and will run with any stock CTD, what every one is forgets, is the CTD is built to move mountains, The hemi moves your passenger truck, or in my case my 2500 work truck.

All that modifed CTD tourqe is wasted in black smoke and runing from stop light to stop light. You can say the same for modding out the hemi and having to prove your equal to the boy wounders in the CTD...

CTD and the hemi are the best engines out thier, and as I said before, it tends to be othier Ram drivers who are out to smoke me out in My Elantra, or prove thier Ram is faster than Mine..
You are sadly mistaken if you think that a Stock CTD will not out run a stock hemi.
And 600 bucks in a hemi for maybe 40+ HP
600 on a Cummins and you can unlock up to 100HP(not to mention Hot unlock codes 400+HP
And please tell me what "Boy Wounders" is?
i think the word you are looking for is Wonder.....
And one last thing you said a CTD was ment to move mountains and thats what she will do.
Do some more research before you put down one of the best motors put together.

The guy who says "Guts, Glory, RAM" in the commercials is Sam Elliot, not Sam Shepard.

As far as "1500 ram owners are snott knosed bratss who cant get laid", well, I am not a snot-nosed brat, but I still can't get laid...

I couldnt agree more.. Both are great motors.. But comparing a Hemi to a Cummins is pretty much pointless...

My question is this:

Why compare? They are two magnificent wonders of modern machinery! Can we just all get along?

I don't want this thread to evolve into a hate thread. Let's continue finding failed car mods!

Can a mod switch the topic title to "Tasteless and Funny Car Mods"? Is that possible?

there's more Duramax's and Powderpuff diesels with smoke switches and stacks around here that wanna race everything, seem like all the dodge owners in my area are either towing a big *** load, or couldn't care less about racing me or anybody else on the road.

I get jackasses in lifted powerchokes trying to smoke me out with their smoke tunes or smoke switches all the time leaving red lights, it's fun waiting till a nice cloud of smoke builds up then charging through it and seeing the look on their faces in my rear view mirror.

it's Also fun to watch the ricer boys eyes widen when my worn out suspension lets my body roll like I got a Hemi under the hood when I rev up at red lights, even though it's a wimpy 3.9l LA v6, and the look on their faces when they hear me bark the tires hitting second gear? Priceless.

Can't wait to get the 327ci v8 I have laying around under the hood...

Wild, remember this, 40 hp gain in a hemi is just about the same as 100 hp in a ctd, because of the weight difference, and probably actually benefit the hemi more. My 06 regular cab weighs 5200 lbs with me in it and a 3/4 ton ram with a ctd, probably weighs at least a ton more than my truck . I'm not sure exactly what the weight of a ctd 3/4 ton, but I'm sure someone will tell me. You are right, they are both excellant motors and my posts were never meant to flame anyone. Actually I failed to say that it's not only the ctd owners but the diesel teenagers in general, who all seem to think they are the fastest things on the road

6.7 CTD with a 6sp man and my 5.7 hemi with the identical 373 ltd slip and identical 6sp man is a fair fight, no clear advantage as long as booth are stook, racing in a strate line (for the gramer teacher)

Facter in ability to tow and The CTD will always have the advantage, more tourqe in a heavy truck with less hp vers less tourqe and mor hp in a lighter truck narrows out the playing filed ..( and for the spelling teacher )

both are good, depends on what you want to do. Talk to hammer if you want the full run down lesson of if you really need a diesel or should stick to gas...
