Royal Purple and I won't use anything else.

Part of the reason is because it's about the best oil money can buy BUT it's good for 15,000KM and so are their filters.

For me it's far more cost effective to spend the money on expensive oil and change it once a year.

if paying regular prices for conventional oil and changing every 3000-5000km it costs more yearly than changing the oil just once or twice yearly with royal purple.

I don't haul trailers or tons of weight so There isn't much reason for me NOT to run it for 15,000km, but if I was doing heavy work I'd be changing it every 10,000 or so.

My dealer changes my oil and filter for about $20 every 3K miles with dino Pennzoil and now that i live less than 4 miles from work, it's not any more than expensive synthetics that will be changed on time, not miles due to condensation build-up from repeated short trips not getting the oil hot enough to burn off the moisture, especially in the winter.
