2003 Ram 1500 with the Hemi....have used the Valvoline Max Life, but have been thinking of switching to Mobil 1...

What are you guys thoughts? What do you use?

Mobil 1 High Mileage 10W-30

Mobil 1 0W-30 Advanced Fuel Economy

I dislike Mobil 1 products... their full synthetics aren't even "true" full synthetics... there are a lot of case studies done on their oil, and it doesn't come close to companies like Royal Purple and Motul.... but to be honest, most people don't see enough
"Stress" on their vehicles to require that high a level of lubrication...

Yep Mobil 1 is a good choice for the average DIYer. Royal Purple costs too much to justify for most of us. Most synthetics are true synthetics but they are still better than conventional

 

The Pennzoil that my dealer puts in it since new.

 

i have 2006 hemi and started using Royal Purple since my last oil change....

I did use mobile 1 5-30 full sythetic high mileage. RP definatly 2nd choice.
