Default Georgia Tornado vs. RAM - RAM Lost

Holy crap! It's very windy here today and I just went to weather.com to get the forecast, and this was the first picture that popped up. Based on the rims, I'd say it used to be a RAM. I hope this doesn't belong to any of our forum members, and I hope nobody was in it at the time.

Looks like it was hung up in the powerlines before it came down. Dang!

What gets me is looking where the frame sits in the front.
That can't be more than a foot and a half off of the ground. Where did the engine go?

i guess like the saying goes, it is not the fall that kills you, it is the sudden stop.

i would guess the engine is still there. if it hit the ground hard enough i would guess everything is just smash.

I was looking at that, too. It certainly looks like there is a big, empty void there where the engine/trans should be, but there's so much other damage who knows what else got pushed, smashed and rearranged...

i don't know how the newer engines look under the hood but i would guess on that ram everything above the heads got crushed. them aluminum intakes don't really take much to break. you could probably put a hammer head through one easily.
