Default Shocks

I'm on my 5th set of shocks in 6 months on the front of my truck. I have absolutely blown them up each time. This is just from driving on the road. The last set I blew up were a pair of Pro Comps that lasted about 2 months

Starting to get really frustrated but can't figure out what could be causing this.

I have a 2006 4x2 1500 reg cab. 78k miles.

Any ideas.

Either you drive on bad roads or you just happen to buy every set of lemons lol. Don't really know what could be causing your issues though. Try some Bilsteins or maybe Ranchos is all I can say. Good luck!

Or you're buying the wrong shocks. I changed out my OEMs at 110K. I expect these Monroe Reflex to be on it when I trade in a few years.

You have some kinda issue going on. I put my Rancho 9000s on when I lifted the truck in '05 and they still perform like new.

Same manufacturer (Tenneco) as your Pro Comps...

I keep blowing them out, they leak and I can compress them with little effort and they wont decompress themselves.
