im not getting stock wheels. not for my truck at least. how many guys do you know that have the soft 8s? now how many guys do you know that have 2500 wheels on their 1500?

i think its a great idea, and it will work with the right adapter, the only thing is, is that the whels may stick out a little, but heck if your going to put a small lift on it, then it will complement it nicely, i know this works because i used to be a asst mgr for Discount Tire Co. . ive seen it once before and i think that putting 2500 wheels on a 1500 looks bada$%. i personally like the 2500 wheels myself

I mean different strokes for different folks. Personally it wouldn't be worth the headache to me.

jnelly, that is exactly what i am going for.

if i dont go with the 2500 wheels, im going to get spacers to stick the tires out abit anyways so some sort of adapter would work as both. its leveled now and so it would look badass.

all thats left is finding the right adapter that is designed to do what i want to do.

but thanks for everyone that added their info. disagreeing or agreeing.

You should be able to find the stock 2500's for sale for CHEAP. I always see them on craigslist around me for next to nothing. Or the local pick-n-pull sell rims with tire and all for $50.
