Hey guys. Saturday i will be running my 05 2wd quad cab hemi at the dragstrip. I have cai, headers, 268 comp cam and hemifever tuned. Im running on 22in srt 10 wheels with goldway tires. Any help on launch? Like should i stall it at the tree ( not spinning tires of course) should i warm em up or should i feather it as i take off? Any help would be awesome cause i wanna get the best time possible plus i have a buddy that has an 05 3/4 4x4 cummins with diablo sport and he thinks hes gonna wax me so i wanna smoke him. U guys think i can?

Just spin them enough to clean them off and go from there. You will just have to make some practice passes on the sticky track to see how it reacts. Mine hardly spins on the street so it should hook well at the track.
I think the torque of the Cummins will smoke ya if it hooks. You might have a better chance if it is 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, he should have the advantage.
