Need help figuring out what special package my ram has.

Yea I would just advertise it as a Sport model really. Pics of the engine bay would help us more as well. But from the factory you wouldn't get anything special like youre describing. Whoever had the truck originally must have done it and said the factory did it to cover his ***

Sounds like you basically have what I have - SLT Sport. The motor deal may be a one off type thing because of the circumstances.
The colored bumpers indicate Sport trim which is just that, a trim/appearance package. A value lookup on NADA or KBB or whatever should add something for that. SLT is also a package - but there could still be options beyond the packages. For example, mine came with power adjustable foot pedals. Not something I would have ordered and I get absolutely no use out of them whatsoever.

The truck was apparently stolen off the line back in 04 and it never got an actual VIN with Chrysler, so it's not in their system.
That's what I took from it.

I don't think he means stolen. If it was stolen from the factory it would be quite illegal for him to have it right now lol. And no dealership or intelligent buyer would ever buy it from him

I have an 04 quad cab hemi 2wd that was my fathers and I just recently got it after he passed away. I'm probably going to sell the truck because I wont drive it so I'm trying to figure out what kind of special package it has. The truck is a 5.7l hemi it has aluminum block and heads and upper a-arms. I tried my local dodge dealer but they couldnt find anything in the computer. The truck was orginally stole from the factory and they took the rims and stereo system and inside computer out. A guy bought it and put all that back on it and my father purchased it from him and it only had 2 thousand miles on it so all the motor stuff is from the factory. If some one on here could help me figure out what kind of special package this truck has I would greatly appreciate it.

It was stolen from the factory and no it is not illegal to have a car lot that deals in stolen recoverts and wrecks bought it and put the stuff back on it and then my father purchased it from him.
