I left my vehicle parked downtown over night and came back the next morning to get it to find this...

Some jack hole thought it was a good idea to steal that cover off my pickup. Does anybody know what this is called and where I can get another one.

I'll have to admit, that's one of the more random thefts I've seen on this forum.

 

Maybe they were attempting to steal your hitch but were too dumb to know how??? But I believe you should never ever mess with another man's vehicle.

 

At least all they took was a small plastic piece and didn't key down the whole side like mine.

 

Somebody stole the glass off of only one of my side mirrors... I was mad but found it kinda funny at the same time lol.

 

People will steal anything. It's becoming a sad reality that we can no longer trust anyone anymore. I had someone CUT my CB antenna wire and steal the antennae. It was only a Magnet mount, but it was still 90 bucks.

 

mine went missing a few months back, I just assumed it popped out on the road.. Never thought someone would actually steal one. Hummmm

 

Probably some guy who needed one for his truck snagged it.

 

Count your blessings that the truck was still there when you returned for it. They probably stole the cheapest part on your truck
