Default swapping mirrors

ok , so i was wondering if anyone could tel me if 2010-2013 dodge ram trailer mirrors with the running lights and signal lights, would fit on my 2008 dodge ram 2500. i think would look unique, if the mirrors would fit . thnk you anyone. jason

Already asked that on here, unfortunately no . At least not as a direct fit but anything is doable with the right tools and money ha.

You can put the 3rd gen tow mirrors on though and add accent lights.

anyone know the reason the mirrors wont fit ?
bolt pattern different ?
plastic dont line up ?

I think you can be sure the electrical connector is different.

other than the connector are they the Same ?

I pretty sure when you compare them closely the plastic molding (tiangle part) that set against the door is little different in size. Don't know amount the mounting hardware.

I've seen them side-by-side, and just off the top of my head, the outside plastic, inner electrical molex and bolt pattern were all different. 2nd-3rd gen there were only minor changes, and adapters were eventually made; but the 4th gen is substantially different. Enough that I don't see a retrofit ever taking place. I'd love to be proven wrong though!
