Not all microfiber cloths are created equal. They can, do, and will break down.
Filters aren't there to just stop leaves and acorns. A filter has a micron rating. That's essentially a rating of how small of a particle the filter is capable of trapping. That cloth is allowing all sorts of small dirt and particles to enter the combustion chamber. It's not an immediately apparent problem, but over time these small particles act as an abrasion blaster, wearing down the cylinder walls, getting trapped in the rings, causing excess wear, and shortening the lifespan of the engine.

Nice of you to not be concerned about others saftey on the road.
That burnt out signal/brake lamp may be the cause of someone hitting you because they're life is of no concern to you.
