very true about the uses of a truck, i have three cars for different purposes. and realize i am blessed for being able to have them and to say that. not everyone can have that or might have obligation(loans and etc) they might not being able to get something more efficient.
According to this if I remove my 20 inch rims and go to 17's I should be getting 27 mpg...because on the interstate I get 23 now. I have some snake oil if anyone is interested. It wont help your mileage, but you'll definitely s^$t better
Another vote for a second fuel efficient vehicle. My wife and i use a BMW non turbo, non direct injection, six banger, as needed cause we both have RAM 1500s.
I have 20's on Falken tires, Travel 103 miles round trip for work. 412 miles and only fill gas tank once a week. 2005 4x4 crew cab w/5.7 Plus have K&N filter in air box.
