Default Buying a 2006 DODGE RAM 1500, what to you guys think?

Time to get rid of my 2006 2500 V10, It's one problem after another with that thing, it's gonna nickle and dime me to death and it's hard to find parts for. I'm looking at a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, SLT, Big Horn edition, Hemi, 4wd with 158,000 on it.
What do you guys have to say about this truck? I know it varies with use and care but how many miles can a realistically plan on getting out of the Hemi? Are their any known serious issues with this year/model truck? Reasons to stay away from it?

I should have stayed away from the V10 to be honest/

Would depend on what type of miles..city or hwy?.
And what work has been done..though not a hemi my truck has had brake lines rust through, steering components leak, chassi s and body panel rust. It's now gott a have front wheel bearings (4×4). Im at 167,000 miles and the truck is in Ky so doesn't see bunch of road salt yearly.

I would not waste my time with a V10...costly parts, sucks fuel, not that much power Hemi 8 only or cummins. Nothing else in a 2500

I would recommend putting it up on a lift and ispecting it thoroughly. I would expect it or any ram to make it to 300k but if maintenance is neglected then it wont last.

In my original post I stated I was selling my 1996 v10 and looking at a 2006 v8 hemi. Not looking at a 2006 v10 because there is no such thing. Anyway I ended up buying the 2006 v8 Hemi
