Default TCCM replacement

Hi, has anyone replaced their TCCM? Is it possible to do without taking the dashboard apart?

You should only need to get access right next to the steering column, the large panel under the column (or just going from underneath) should be adequate. Have you researched to see where it actually is?

It looks like it is visible through the port on the left end of the dash. I guess my question is can I get it out without taking apart pieces of the dash. It seems to be under several layers.
