So I just purchased a 2003 dodge ram 2500 quad cab 4x4 v10. What are some issues I may need to keep an eye out for? I know I am going to be aking a lot of questions. But for now I'll just list the issues I know of. 1. Water pump. 2,heater core. 3, transfer case and sway bar bushing. Is there any spark plugs and wire set that any one would suggest me to use I am going to be doing a tune up on it soon. Thank you for your time

2003 V10 truck is kind of a unicorn; you actually found the one that I always said I'd buy if I happened across one. For V10 specific questions you'll be better off hitting up the 2nd gen guys. I seem to recall hearing about an ignition component that's getting harder to find.

Yep 2003 was a giant crossover year. Second year for the 3rd gen 1500, first year for the 3rd gen 25/3500, 3.7, 4.7, 5.7, 5.9 gas, 5.9 diesel and the V10 all available that year.

Yeah, parts for the 8.0 in general are becoming hard to find. Especially electronic parts.... Coils, sensors, etc.

Yeah it was the last year they came out with the standard 8.0 and not the viper 8.0. Thank you for the plug advice. And am not sure the t case is yet
