Default Crankcase sensor

Gotta change my crankcase position sensor on my 07 1500 hemi and was wondering if I need to spend another 40 bucks to get Mopar or just get a Dorman or another one? Also would appreciate the information on what to do before and after changing it.

For critical sensors, of which, the crank sensor is right at the top of the list... ONLY use Genuine Mopar sensors.

Nope. Replace it, plug it in and go. Just make sure the key is off so the bus isn't powered up.
