Default 2004 fuel tank needed

Hi, can anybody supply a part number or tell me a suppliers name that could help me source a replacement fuel tank for my Ram, I’m in the U.K. so would need shipping as well, but any info will be useful because, apparently, the tank is discontinued for this years model, but I’m guessing a later model version may fit, many thanks.

it’s a 2004 Ram 1500 SLT QC 4.7 with apparently a 35 gallon tank according to the garage mechanic but it would be ok if I can access a 35 or 26 gallon tank

1500 is a half ton.

2 or 4 wheel drive?

I *think* the part number is 52113613AE.... You can search on that, and see if anyone has one.... RockAuto UK??? US site is showing out of stock though..... Is your tank repairable? Might not be left a choice in the matter....

It’s a 2 wd, I tried searching for that part number a couple suppliers came up but show details then “discontinued” and offer no alternative, I have managed to find a supplier CADiD that lists stock of part number 52113613AF with stock that apparently fits my truck, this is priced at $1350, so I think I’ll go ahead and order that.
the old tank is too badly corroded at the top to be repaired.

Yes I did think it was a little excessive and now I don’t actually think it’s the right one for my truck, one of the original numbers for it is 52113589AC but as yet I’ve not been able to track one down yet, there appears to be one with a supplier named M1 Mall they apparently have one at $330 but their website is very vague, I don’t know if they would ship to U.K. I will try and email them as far as I can see they are in the states somewhere but it does not say where, it lists it under a slightly different part number but from what I can see it look like it’s correct, maybe if you have time to check them out and see what you think.

It's the numbers that are important, the last two letters just indicate date of manufacture.

That’s very useful information thankyou so much, I seem to have stumbled upon a fix for my tank, on another forum I saw someone had a problem with their tank and again could not get a replacement tank, but a firm, gas tank renu manufacture a replacement ring kit fo $45 which according to my mechanic says will fix my problem so I’m going to try order one from this company, hopefully they will ship to the U.K. for me.
