Default Fuel Pump/TIPM Issues

So, the other day I went to start my truck (07 1500 5.7L) and it just kept turning over, no start. Checked to see if I could hear the fuel pump priming and couldn't. Figured ok, I'm gonna have to get a pump. Went out the next morning and tried it, it fired right up. Ran it for about 20 minutes, no problems. Went out again a day later, no fuel pump priming and of course, wouldn't start. Tried this morning, fuel pump came on and it started right up. Again ran it for about 20 minutes, no problems. Due to the TIPM, I'm not sure really how to diagnose. I was gonna check for power at the pump today, but the pump is working today. And when it does start, it seems to run good. Any advice?

Gonna have to wait until if fails, then test for power to the pump.

Kinda was figuring that. I appreciate the feedback. If it fails again, and I have power at the pump, obviously I'll need a pump. If I don't have power at the pump, where would I start? TIPM?

Is the pump relay replaceable in yours? I had thought the thrid gen tipms had issues with those, and they were permanently mounted? I know there are bypass kits for those though. (convert to external relay.)

From what I've been able to find, the pump relay is not replaceable (integrated in the TIPM). I have read a little bit about the bypass kits, but honestly haven't seen the kit I would need, nor would I know how to install said kit. Would you have any knowledge on that front?

Several folks sell them... though, probably not nearly as many as in the past. They come with decent directions. I think it's only four or five wires you are dealing with. There may even be a thread or two around here about it, but, they are gonna be fairly old. Buncha videos on youtube about it as well.

Thanks. I have looked and looked through threads on here and can find a bunch of the same issue and stuff, but none about installing or finding a kit. Have seen a bunch of videos on YouTube on this issue with trucks newer than my 07, but can't seem to locate any videos or information on mine. You don't happen to have a link? It hasn't failed to start since the other day so I haven't been able to diagnose if it's the pump or not, but went ahead and pulled the bed. I was gonna order a kit just to have in case it ends up being the fuel pump relay.

Most of the kits I see for your truck are under 50 bucks, and appear to be just two, two-wire connectors, that plug in on the surface of the TIPM..... I've never dealt with one personally.... so, I have no idea what your truck is actually like. The ones that come with a relay, harness, etc, seem to be for newer trucks.... Here's an example.

Yeah, I found some kinda like the one you show here as an example, and just like the one you show, the only years it lists for Dodge Rams is 2011-2012. I don't know if that necessarily means it won't work on mine or if it just isn't listed or what. I cannot seem to locate anything that lists 07 Dodge Ram. And I still haven't been able to find anything on YouTube, or anywhere else for that matter, for anything on it for the 06-08 trucks. It still has not malfunctioned again yet, I was hoping to find and be able to get a kit just to have in case it does though. Maybe that isn't an option for mine and I would have to get a new TIPM all together? Idk. Can only find reman TIPMs and they are dang near $1000.

Theoretically,
this one this one
should work for your truck. Installation is gonna be real simple.... pull a couple fuse, install the jumper, reinstall fuses, done. Likely take you all of three minutes when it becomes necessary.
