Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus Tire Feedback
Thinking about putting on Cooper Discoverer H/T Plus tires on my 04 Quad cab Ram, want to hear from people who have purchased these and what they think of them.....ride, grip, wear, road noise, etc. Thanks
I had them on a set of 18's for my last vehicle which was a Trailblazer. I found they significantly improved road grip and they were wearing very well. There wasn't a significant change in noise from them and I found them to have a sporty tread design.
I have a set on my 02' 1500 Quad Cab, 20" and they grip pretty darn good! Its hard to say if they are loud....because i have studs in mine right now and obviously those are gunna be kinda loud on dry pavement haha but i dont notice any tire noise at all. They wear great, ive put over 20,000 miles on them and they look brand new! and usually the reartires are spinning faster then the front haha but they still look new, no noticable wear. they also ride pretty smooth, no complaints in that department.

I have just put on my 03 QC s/b Hemi, 300 miles ago some of the Cooper Discoverer H/T plus m/s 275x60xR20's.
It's obviously too early to say anything about how they wear.
However, the road noise is very quiet and the handling especially in the wet is very good.
My milleage is also unchanged.
They seem to be a great tyre for a lot of pavement driving and will perform reasonably offroad, especially when new with the large unworn tread pattern.
They are not boggers or swampers or dedicated 4x4 tyres, so please bear that in mind.

I've been running them in the summers for two years. I've got about 40k on them now. (I put A LOT of miles on.) I'll probably get one more summer out of them.
i have a set of these on my truck for right at 2 years now, got em in 295/45/20 and i love them.....they have done excellent for me in the snow (i live in northern iowa...we get alot of snow) they seem toclearout the snow of the treads very goodand havent had a problem with them yet....the traction is great on dry and wet pavement and there is hardly any noise with mine....they are an excellent tire and would deffinitly recommend them to anyone
