2009 interior fit a 2006?
#11
Well the back seats are in. The 2010 Steel floor base mounting plate extended about 3 inches further back than the 2006 seats, so I just used a grinder to chop off the 3" and it fit right in. Had to drill 2 new holes at the back of the bracket for the back bolts to go into the floor.
So while they are bolted down now, I need to make 2 new hooks to hold the back of the seats againts the back wall. The hooks on the 2010 are wider than the ones that were on the 2006 ones..... should be an easy fix. It's just been so cold and rainy and windy, i have only been putting in about 20 minutes here and there.

Really nice man! They are a little more plush. A little thicker, has a better contour, and feels sportier yet more comfy. I am very happy with them.
I got a good deal on this truck because it was a little dirty. The interior was dirty and smokey, carpet was stained up. but mechanically it is in great shape and only has 107,000 miles on it. I got it for $16,000.
So for $800, I bought this brand new, never used, 2010 interior, and new carpet, and washed down the interior plastics and roof while the seats were out, now it looks and smells like a brand new truck.
I am very happy with it.

I didnt get the 2010 center console because it wouldnt work with my truck, so all I have for now is the original browny/grey console, but it is not bolted down, because I am not sure If I am keeping it or not. If I grab a matching charcoal/black console, I'll put it in, but I am considering making a subwoofer/console for the middle...... It's up in the air at this point.
Right now the original console is just sitting in the middle, tucked in there with out being bolted down.

I will take some pic's of what I had to do for the rear seat hooks to work though. I had to cut out some slots in the rear wall for the hooks to sink into, instead of just adding the hooks for the seat to latch onto. These 2010 seats are a little "fatter" so I needed that extra inch or so for the seats to go further back. But it worked out great, and I took the kids for a ride and they love it too. They love the pull down cup holder in the middle and the more "bucket" feel to the new seats.
As for space under the seats, Actually, it seems to have a little more height under there. I will be putting in a sub box as well with 2x JL103V3-4 10" subs, and stuffing a Zapco C2k-9.0(subs) and Zapco C2k-4.0 (mid/highs). I already have Zapco competition mid highs installed in the front and back doors.
I also just bought a Pioneer Avic-Z130BT DVD/Navigation system for this truck. I pre-wired everything while the interior was out, so I am just waiting for all the components to show up, and it will go together real fast.
