Default Homemade bumpers anyone?

Anyone built a homemade bumper for a Ram 1500? Thinking of building my own, would like to see some pictures/drawings of other designs. Need to keep it as a lightweight bumper but I'd also like it to be able to take a good hit if necessary. Another reason is I have a 3" body lift, and I wanted to eliminate the brackets to get my front tow hooks back.

I wish I had the knowledge and equipment to build with metal because I'd be all over that. It's so hard to find a solid metal bumper replacement for our 1500s. I really want some good solid protection up front.

My dream is to build up a truck like something from Death Race lol. I want my truck to be able to drive straight through hell and back smiling!
This extra weight also means I need a SFA, so I might have to curtail my ambitions a bit

^^^ Let someone cut in front of me with that beast, I wouldn't even think about putting un-needed stress on my brakes LOL

i've built quite a few fronts and rears, that is the only one i actually sold to a buddy of mine,he wrecked and insurance payed for it, a set will be on my new MC very soon, the ones on the dak are mine too, the only reason i havent sold any is they are quite pricey to build

That is a NICE looking bumper. Do you have any drawings for those? (If you're willing to share)
