Ok i can understand now 60 but who really drive's 60

When you have a 35 gallon tank, or 135 lt and mid grade is 1.10 per lt. I drive 60, Up to 835 km on one tank, Diesel flue is 15 cents cheaper in Calgary, so your saving running a CTD, but the extra 8,000 for the new 6.7 CTD is hard to justify if your not working the truck to the max

What do you mean about a cummins not holding its value? There is a guy looking for one right now and the best he can find is I think it was a 98 12v 2500 that was beat to heck for $12000. A 1500 of that year with a 318 is only worth about 4-5 grand.

no Agriculture diesel is more used oil than highway diesel...the sulfur content is alot higher in the Ag Diesel than the Highway diesel...but the question still remains why are we arguing over apples and oranges? Diesel is diesel and it all goes into your tank and produces that same beautiful smelling aroma belched forth from the exhaust pipes...

If you do alot of pulling by a diesel if not go with a gasser...if something breaks on a diesel more likely than not it more expensive to fix it...
Sorry if I sound a little PO'd but WE are not arguing over apples and oranges. Some of YOU are contributing to the "errornet" and need to stop/STFU, because what someone told you about Ag Diesel or whatever diesel fuelbeing made, in some portion, of used oil is most likely FACTUALLY BOGUS. If your Offroad Diesel Fuel has used oil in it, you're probably getting the big weiner in the tailpipe. This I know for sure: the number one selling ag diesel in Indiana, and probably all the surrounding states is Countrymark Super Dieselex 4 (I think it's a B2 blend now). There is absolutely ZERO used petroleum oil used in it's production, and it's not a cheaper fuel.

True enough, but I could make a very good case for buying it used when the 09s come out. Never pay for the off-the-lot depreciation when you can get it used with low mileage. The 08 model will be the best of the DRs, I'm guessing, like the 02s were probably the best non-HPCR 24V BRs.
