You will like the 4.7L it's a very good motor. I like it ten times better than the old 5.2L. It likes to rev but it sounds great when you step on it.

thats a good deal on your truck!!! i owed 22k too for my old 06 v6 and they only gave me 15900. but i also up'd to an 07 Laramie which includes the HEMI. god i love it! youll notice the diff when you step into the truck for a test drive when the sales person is driving off the lot for you...

did the paper work today and took her home. still got the truck for under sticker but no rebates. they would not even give me my grill that they were giving away with new trucks because they said i got to good of a deal it really pissed me off. gave me nothing extra but let me swap the rims because i had the crome clade and the new ones were just the stock aluminum ones. i even called another dealership and they pulled up were the othe dealership got my loan threw and they said they could do no better. trading her in only costed me 40 more a month but i feel i got a lot more truck.

I keep reading the people with hemi's saying the 4.7 are still under powered. when i test drove my 4.7it felt like it had plenty of power. i have trouble leaving the stop light without spinning the tires and i lit them up to see what it would do i shifted all the way into 3rd still spinning tires.. it was great.. i really do hope i did not make a mistake with going with the 4.7 but i was thinking about the gas prices. i want to be able to drive my truck not leave it parked. i think if i had went with the 5.7 i would go threw tires as fast as i filled up with gas. i bought the truck for a daily driver my other car is an srt-4 w/mods and my old truck with the 3.7 got better gas mileage than the car.

i hear alot about the 4.7 getting just as bad as gas mileage as the hemi because it doesn't have the same amount of power so its working harder to get it going and keeping it at highway speeds. I have never drivin a 4.7 but i would sure like to know what the difference is.

I think everyone with a truck, is going to be hurting for a while. Especially with these gas prices going up again. (Blame the Replubicans) But, then again, i read on one of these forums that E85 equipped vehicles are getting better gas mileage.
