Yes, the paint is chipped up abit. I wish the previous owner put them on from day one. I also have tar spots ... anybody have a good way to remove tar without hurting the paint finish?

You could try the "Mr Clean Magic Sponge"... I've had good luck gettin some stuff off my trucks... Hopefully it'll work for you...
