Default Exhaust Question

Hi, i'm new to the forums and also a brand new Dodge owner. I just got true dual 40 series flowmasters on my 2005 4.7l ram. I was wondering if i removed the cats/resonaters would it sound louder? I love the sound now but I want it a little louder. Also would I pass emissions if I removed these and could I have some suggestions on how to make it louder. Thanks.

Also, Ive only had the exhaust for 5 days. I heard it takes time to break them in to be louder. Is this true?

since no one else responded, yes it will be louder, no it wont pass emissions. as for the breaking it in theory.. never heard that one before, and i cannot believe that could in anyway be true.

Thats True! Some states have different laws about removing your cat.

Im in tx. You have to have cats [:@]! How many resonators do I have and where are they located? If I remove those and leave the cats, it should be louder and would pass emissions don't you think?

Law here in Florida clearly states that if you remove/alter your cats then you can NOT have NDGs. Ain't worth it to me bro, gotta have my NDGs
