on myspace and yahoo email ive recievedthis message asking everyone to not pump gas on may 15th, im not going to hell its just one day its not like i have to pump gas everyday.
In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.
On May 15th 2007, all myspace members are to not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.
There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the myspace network, and the average car takes about 30 to 40 dollars to fill up.
If all myspace members did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,200,000,000.00 (that's BILLION) out of the oil companys pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.
If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldnt) repost this
These gas prices are out of control, someone (You & I) need to stop the oil companys from robbing us so don't buy gas on May 15th!!!

Last night after coming out of Kmart, a Subaru or Kia parked infront of my big 2500Hd. It was nose to nose with my truck. Both my wife and I noticed that his roof line was about mid grill level of my rig. We both came to the obviouse conclusion that if we hit at speed, the poor SOB would'nt stand a chance and our truck would have gone over the car easily. That is what makes up for the poor MPG to us. The law of physics and how it plays in safety.

These trucks are not tanks. I have seen too many of them with the top so flat you could hardly tell where the cab was. I would not want to be in this big "Safe" truck when that happens.
Nothing that weighs 4 tons fully loaded at 45-75mph is safe. (6800lbs + fuel "200lbs"+ 1-5 Passengers "100-1000lbs" and maybe a loaded bed with stuff?)
Are they safe in a parking lot doing 10mph? Sure.
