I heard Royal Purple is only good for racing, no more then 1000 miles. That its designed for hard working motors and it thins out for every day driving conditions.
I had my mind set on Royal Purple until I heard about that.

I've always been a quakerstate fan, by the way, Walmart brand oil IS quakerstate, just cheaper I've been doing penzoil on my 97 Chrysler T and C and '96 Dodge just cause I can get $13 oil changes at the local lube shop. My brother-in-law works on engines a lot said penzoil causes more sludge than other oils, but those vehicles are so old I don't care anymore. My new truck will be getting Mobile 1 Synth as soon as it needs a change.
