Default 2004 Dodge Ram 4.7 Runing Hot

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 4.7 v8, I notice that it was runing hotter then normal, I took it to the dealer and had them check it out , they recommended to change the thermal stat and change coolant , I pick up the truck today and drove it home and it is still runing half way between half and the red, Help.

If it's just like it was when you dropped it off then take it back.

Don't pay for the service if they don't garantee the work. You could spend a lot of money letting them guess what's wrong.

your radiator is slighlty clogged
if they changed the thermostat and fluid that is the only other thing it could be

You said they recommended. So does that mean you did it or did they?

You may just have air in the system as well.
