From what I understand the stock shocks are long enough for the 2" kit. However if you are going to try doing anything off road then I would get the longer shocks because with the stock shocks even though you are 2" higher, you lost 2" of wheel travel. Longer shocks will give that 2" back to you.

I have the same prob i want to level/lift my truck and im looking at a three inch lift w/ 3 inch lift spindles in the front and a 1 inch block in the rear .

can anybody give me some advice here????

I have a Daystar 2.5" leveling kit on my ram and works great. It was easy to install too. All I needed to get was longer shocks for the front and alignment.The 2.5" seems to bring the front up just a little bit more than the rear, so you can go with a 2" kit, or just get a block for the rear.
I have actually been looking at these spacers to put on my 04 2wd. How long have you had them on yours? And how hard were they to install? The pics look good man! Hopefully I can have the same luck you have had!
