integrity chrysler sucks,
hi, i have a quick question, is the sales contract on my ram a legal document in nevada if the name and address are incorrect? the dealership i went to "forced" me to sign a new contract for over 100 more a month for a bare bones 1500, and its not worth it to me. when i say forced i mean, i asked for my trade in back, and they said no, because they had already paid it off, i later found out that it was not paid off, when i went to another dealership for a ranger. if the contract is not binding, then i am gonna turn it in, and get a 4wd ranger with the 4.0 same power as my v6, and oh, half the weight. then numbers close anyway cant remember the horsepower numbers or exact curb weights, but the v6 in the ford is way better bang for the buck. BTW this was at integrity chrysler jeep and dodge, in las vegas nevada. sorry for being off topic, wasn't sure where to put this.
thanks, i am gonna try to get them to take it back tomorrow, if they wont do it nice i am gonna threaten them with a lawyer, and bad publicity, which will hurt them more than a lawyer, i have always owned fords, but my dad has had a 1500 qc w/ the 4.7, and he got a 2500 hd qc w/ the hemi, so i thought i would try it, but its not worth well over 500 a month for such a simple truck.
You know... talk to the sales manager.. not just the person that sold you the vehicle. Also talk to the Finance manager not the person that asked you to re-sign the papers. I would say that they breached the contract. You originaly signed a contract under certain terms, then they changed it. By all rights you had finalized the deal when you walked out unless otherwise stated in the contract.
Most TV stations have like a trouble shooter that love to deal with these issues and will cost you nothing. You know it is worst for them to be exposed to bad publicity than to be threatened with a lawyer.
Please note that such is not Chrysler's way of doing business, this is an independent dealership branded. Have you escalated to the Dodge/Chrysler regional representative?

i understand they are independant from DC, and yes i talked to the sales manager, said they would help me out, put me in another cheaper car, but couldn't give my old car back, but they couldn't/wouldn't help me get another car from them. i hadn't thought about the tv idea, or going to a regional office, how do i get a contact number for them,
either way i just want out of the truck, its too much of a hassle, i dont even want my trade in back, i just want to be free and clear.

I can understand how you feel. I would be very pissed off also. To contact the TV station, just look it up on the net.. Most of them have that information on the internet. For the DC site.. they will keep you on hold forever, but you have to persevere....

Which dealer in Nevada? Towbin Dodge? The bad PR alone would probably encourage them to do the right thing! Threaten to call the local news to see about doing a bit on this. Here in NC, one of the local news stations has a bit called "Troubleshooter" where a news reporter confronts businesses, people, etc on camera on behalf of a customer.
