Default bad in rain

I know some of you have had problems with hydroplaining in the rain b/c I have and people I talk to with the same truck have flipped them and wrecked pretty much. Does anyone know an upgrade to stop this. I am thinking the 20's have too much paw on the road and the suspension is really stiff with the light rear end. God forbid if you have balding tires it's almost impossible to drive in the rain without babying the throttle around turns and stuff. I know this because I have done 360's down the highway at 65 mph lol.

The stock Goodyears suck in the wet. That's no secret. Change your tires to a more A/T tire and you shouldn't have any more issues.

It's rained pretty hard here once in a while (probably like 3-4 inch deep puddles), and I have had no trouble with hydroplaining.... Even at 60mph! I still have the stock tires on my truck to..........

Replace the tires. I had wranglers on mine 4x4 and I was all over the road in the rain. I had to drive in 4high to control it. I put Toyo open country a/t's on. Now I have grip like crazy. I love them.

Maybe could itbe your driving style? I have owned two rams since '02 with stock tires and never had a problem. Just my opinion. Red

must be the roads here, I mean just cruzing down the highway in the rain i have felt the rear end shift before. I have seen rams here all crashed in the gaurd rails too and I know what happened b/c it was raining. The goodyears I have are gunna be replaced in a week or 2 when I get time. I got about 38k out of them. Thanks for the help though.

I had to get used to the torque when turning when I first got the truck but never had problem with straight line driving. I also learned the hard way back in the day, that when it rains and you are driving on the freeway, don't change lanes to fast. Driving a rear wheel drive, light A$$ rear, high power vehicle can leave even the most experienced driver dizzy.

i've got the stock 20's on mine, i have to reaally baby the throttle in the rain. even sometimes at lights when it changes green i find myself spinning tires, and have to release the throttle and let them catch then i will lightly get back on the throttle and spin them some more! it doesn't rain to much here, so it doesn't really bother me. they grip good when it's dry
