any lifted truck, mine included is a nuicense to the eyes of others, when I am at a red light or drive through I turn my head lights off because I feel bad for the people in the car. That is unless it is a ricer. I have no sympothy for them. I would like brighter lights as well but with the lift don't feel right, however I am going to evaluate because somebody else's comfort is not worth my family or trucks life if I crash due to lack of lighting.

thanks, "thechad"i guess the stock ones just shine between the bumper and the headlights. thats exactly where mine is at. i just ordered some silver star ultra bulbs for my headlights so hopefully that will help on the dark back roads.

The pattern for fog lights are just what you mentioned and are designed that way. Doesn’t sound like there is anything wrong. Pirata is correct as well. Changing them may reduce their function in foul weather. Driving lights project beyond the regular headlights and are illegal for street use in most states.
My Factory headlights and factory fogs work great. If you change out to brighter illegal bulbs please don’t use the same highways I do at night. How would you like having you eyes put out by other drivers while you are trying to see the road?

well my stock fog lights when i turn them on at night, light up the area from my bumper to where my head lights are shining, which to me is ridiculous because it practically does nothing. anyone know how to make them brighter? or light up a little more (area wise)

btw i get it every night, driving around here you get all the yuppy cars with HIDs shining right in your eyes. i dont plan on going to ILLEGAL bulbs. just some good old LEGAL silverstars.

no, no problems with high beams. no no black outs. blacking out headlights is the dumbest s**t you can possibly do. might as well put a blind fold on too. ha. no, just saying that i guess from what ive concluded is the stock fog lights only light from the bumper to where the headlights are lighting, something around 5 whopping feet
