I got it to rip out to about 6 grand today on dry pavement...i just had to toy with the brakes a little more than usual. maybe my new tires (same wranglers just new ones) are grippier somehow.

how are you guys doing burnouts by the way. i have a 2005 CTD 4X4 and I cant smoke tires. I hold brake , press pedal to floor, turbo spools up and nothing. when i let off brake i do accelerate like hell though. how can i make it spin. i have 373 ratio diffs with antispin diff.

It says antispin in glovebox. does this mean both diffs are antispin and of the 373 ratio?

make sure ya are not in 4x4 first of.then dont press the brake so hard. you have way more torque to get the job done as well

yea I was at a car show and i watched a ford and chevy dually doin some nice burnouts. and like dean said...make sure your in 4x2. and just toy with the brake with your foot on the floor in 1st. you should be able to do it no problem. Ive done 4wheel burnouts in 4-lo in the rain haha.
